since I'm not familiar with the jig you mention I can't make the following statement with confidence: I'd think you would be able to drill new holes to match whatever router you wanted to use
edit: my memory came up with the following correlation and "hack"...I used my wells carrol (sp?) jig in the field once and found I couldn't attach my standard pc 7310 router to it because the way the base was constructed...luckily I had already taken a base and run it through a tablesaw to cut it in half for use on door jambs with door stop in place already so I was able to make attachment and route a perfectly round hole of a perfect size to use as a template to perfectly enlarge a hole in some flooring so an electrician was able to mount a floor plug (actually I ended up doing about everything as the electrician observed because he was an idiot)
